The lights were pouring out of the Gallery as I walked up to it. Then there was a flurry of flashes and questions being hurled at me from the press. Please I said, Can we have a night of respect for the real artist that is no longer here. Then I turned and entered the Gallery.
Michael sounded the booming voice of the Mayor; I endured the photo-op moment with him and his promise to contact me on my proposal to the city.

At the next meeting I stood at the head of the table with my presentation ready. There was a constant buzz as people came in talking to each other. I noted that Opal had put together a great team and in a few minutes they were to find out it was going to grow even further.

Leaving everything at my desk I headed for the apartment. Walking down the street the hustle and bustle so much more silent at this time of night I looked around and saw those who had no homes. Like ghosts they wafted around silent unless you neared their established zone then you could raise a bit of a muttering out of them. Each one I left my card promising them someone who could help if they wanted it. When I ran out of cards I continued straight to my apartment.
