Black Wing

She waited on the outskirts of a winding path
Seething and hating the Red Wings in wrath
Always pushing, they were taking their land
For this she was willing to die, to make a stand

Shrouded in dark fog, she stepped over the line
The one declared unsafe, not caring this time
Fluttering of wings, came the sound of a Red Wing
That is when she struck, mortally wounding the thing

Stepping up to pull out her sword
It lay bent and broken, she sought no reward
She kicked it once just for good measure
Flicking eyes alight, knowing the land they could treasure

So the story spun of an unknown Black Wing
Who struck from the shadows, death she would bring
United they stood now, behind this unknown fairy
Armed and united, boiling with the war they would carry
